While some could never forgive the death of Optimus Prime, The Transformers: The Movie opened in cinemas on my eighth birthday, “I’ve always loved them, and I always will,” as evidenced by Egocentric Universe: Best Image Gallery Ever!

Many things made my Thursday, yet this latest cinematic romp was by far the most significant. Few recall a time before the Transformers became the exclusive domain of the Hub Network. Transformers: Age of Extinction has several nods, and at least one point of its plot, to Transformers Animated, which aired soon after the first live-action film on the Cartoon Network, where they left FOX Kids for.

I am happy if everyone affected by the disaster becomes even a little energetic.
