Baba (Bill) O’Riley

Some time ago, I stopped playing online games and never used voice chat. While Ventrilo hosts channels for voice chat and continues to be available today, the app was used more broadly ten years ago when connections were not encrypted or protected by passwords, which made those connections exploitable; That’s Ventertainment!
With a warning for language and content, “Ventertainment - Nerd Confusion 3: The Ring,” is rather hilarious and I see what I look like when I get angry in “Bill O’Reilly Goes Nuts
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, (Colossians 3:17)
do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

3(Let It Snow)

John is staying safe/alive and hanging tough
like the Bee Gees and New Kids On The Block.
“I will give to the LORD the thanks due to his righteousness,
and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Highest. (Psalms 7:17)”

Interesting timing too, my sister started to put up a Christmas tree within 10 minutes;
I’d have been in the way if I remained in the chair.

My oh my Gosh, Summary of Improv Goals 042

Neglecting to mention, I accepted a friend request on Thanksgiving; she and I chatted most of the day:
However, this is not where our story lays today, rather a friend shared this status:
“From Jill Bernard: Guns killed 31 people so we threw them all away. Wait, sorry, that was lettuce.”
“But guns don’t grow on trees,” responding as a Word of the Day from Dictionary.com - waggish - roguish in merriment and good humor, I was attempting to deflect soon to fear a notification from Facebook about a reply:
“Bernard was going to have something to say about it, ‘you grow lettuce weird,’” so my fears were unfounded yet my response went over the top since I have never had a direct conversation with Bernard, a talented professional improviser from Minneapolis-St Paul.
“Oh my gosh
Oh my gosh <3 your work
Oh my gosh
Oh my gosh!
done no Improvisational theater in 5 years; forgot the first rule, always make your scene partner look good; John had a format where he and someone who had never done Improv had a scene on stage, and always was fantastic because John followed that
Aside, Chris, you know you’re not on stage?
Perhaps, yet all is possible in the theater of the Mind,” which I followed with this image:
“For everything created by God is good, (1 Timothy 4:4-5)
and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.”

Say It Isn’t Snow!

Probably should call Sunday night off, a current winter storm warning from The Weather Channel is 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. ☹
“Black Friday is here! Head to Jersey Mike’s while out shopping today for lunch or dinner and get Double Points on all subs today!”
Being broke means that I thankfully have no business with any Word of the Day from Dictionary.com - doorbuster - Informal. a retail item that is heavily discounted: ...

That’s a terrible cowboy name!

Two events occurred at tops of the hour; I joined my father and sister at one this afternoon for our Thanksgiving dinner (the turkey was a bigger bird this year and took a little longer to cook), and I finished taking the trash to the curb by seven (trash day is delayed a day until tomorrow).
“Peter Griffin: Let me show you something that’s funny. Okay here’s an impression of John Wayne on the first Thanksgiving.

[as John Wayne]

I’m John Wayne on the first Thanksgiving, pilgrims! Happy Thanksgiving, pilgrims!”
“For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God. So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. (2 Corinthians 4:15-16)”

Time Of Your Life

As perfect a Thursday reprised, “The day of 10 Windows,”
and our Section Chief, could not be happier.
Bennigan and I celebrated his birthday at Twin Peaks Restaurants.
Sunday, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime enthalled Josh and I.

and the LORD will by no means clear the guilty.
His way is in whirlwind and storm, (Nahum 1:3)

I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight

‘The people complaining about President Trump being in Butte Co. are the same people that would have complained about him not showing up, “Bill Maher slammed for disrespecting late comic book writer Stan Lee”.’
“‘In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so,
would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again and will take you to myself,
that where I am you may be also. (John 14:2-4)
And you know the way to where I am going.’”

Every day from this day on is a Gift

With this Word of the Day from Dictionary.com - armistice - a temporary suspension of hostilities by agreement of the warring ... my sister and I got along today since I had brought home some doughnuts while I was visiting my friend Travis this morning on the east side of town.
“Say also: ‘Save us, O God of our salvation,
and gather and deliver us from among the nations,
that we may give thanks to your holy name,
and glory in your praise.’ (1 Chronicles 16:35)”

“August 29, 1997, came and went. Nothing much happened. Michael Jackson turned 40. There was no Judgment Day. People went to work as they always do. Laughed, complained, watched TV, made love. I wanted to run to through the street yelling to grab them all and say, ‘Every day from this day on is a gift. Use it well.’

The unknown future rolls toward us. I face it, for the first time, with a sense of hope. Because if a machine, a Terminator, can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too.”

A hundred years ago? That’s tomorrow!

Make plans to join us this Sunday (Watch the November 11 #Armistice100 ceremony LIVE starting at 9:30 a.m.), visitors to the National WWI Museum and Memorial will hear the Armistice bell rung at 11:00 a.m. (The ringing of the Armistice Bell for the Bells of Peace ceremony at 10:55 a.m. can also be watched live) in Memorial Courtyard to mark one hundred years since the Armistice:
“We will have warm reinforcements of complimentary blankets (while supplies last) + hot beverages available for purchase from CoffeeCakeKC at Sunday morning's outdoor Armistice 100 Ceremony.

Dress warmly and enjoy the camaraderie that will be experienced during this commemorative event and celebration of peace.”
“Great piece in PARADE Magazine on the history of #Armistice100 and the commemorative activities at the Museum and Memorial tomorrow: Tolling Bells and Massive Light Display of Poppies Commemorate Centennial of Armistice Ending World War I.”
Learn more about the tradition and etiquette of wearing remembrance poppies:

Complimentary Royal British Legion poppies will be shared with guests who attend the U.S. Armistice 100 Ceremony at the Museum and Memorial this Sunday. Poppies are traditionally worn on the left lapel.”
“For the grace of God has appeared,
bringing salvation for all people, (Titus 2:11)”
Sisterly love time! If FiM is to end after next season I hope we get more of these two’s background. It’s sad how little we’ve gotten to see them interact over so many many episodes.”
‘From the Collection: an early illustration of the Kaiser by artist Louis Raemaekers titled, “I Dreamt That It All Was Not True,” with the depiction of terrible tragedy written in his face.

In the final days leading up to the signing of the Armistice, Germans are escorted through a devastated French countryside to a railway car in the Compiegne Forest, where Marshall Foch presents the Allied armistice terms. Germany must answer within 72 hours.

100 years ago today, Kaiser Wilhelm II abdicated his throne ahead of the Armistice and fled to Holland with his entourage. In Germany, Philip Scheidemann, a Socialist leader, then proclaimed a democratic Republic and became its first Chancellor.’
“These are the warm-up Salute to Service jackets that The Kansas City Chiefs will be wearing at tomorrow’s game in honor of #Armistice100 featuring a special commemorative patch in partnership with the Museum and Memorial. Look out for these as you watch the game tomorrow!

(Note: The limited run patches available for the public to purchase have sold out. We will make an announcement if we are able to acquire more! Thank you).”

damn it, Chris, quit moving

Joint Pain Relief,” which showed an image of the human shoulder, reminded me of how I recently injured my shoulder again and less than two weeks after I helped a colleague from work with moving.

You’s been Acosta’d

Though said many times many ways, “Liberals are Hypocrites,” which is a Word of the Day from Dictionary.com - dissemble - to conceal one’s true motives, thoughts, etc., by some pretense:
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God
so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him,
because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful.
Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion,
seeking someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:6-8)”

Tuesday’s Gone with the Wind, Again?

With Word of the Day from Dictionary.com - dopester - a person who undertakes to predict the outcome of elections, I thought “the work of a critic is easy,” yet he proved to be correct: I celebrated in “A rewarding civic experience,” then arrogantly assumed “I don’t know, Shadows of the Night,” gave up “She’ll be comin’ ‘round the Mountain,” and “Midterm election results 2018: Democrats win House, GOP holds Senate
“Let me hear what God the LORD will speak,
for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints;
but let them not turn back to folly. (Psalms 85:8)”

Día de los Muertos

Google honors colorful Mexican holiday: How Mexico Celebrates Its Annual ‘Day of the Dead’,” while Bennigan has seen Coco, I have not; we are going to Thanksgiving with Laser Rangers, yet I have no idea what circumstances conspired against me last year.
Doctor Who Christmas Special Scrapped After Writers Run Out Of Ideas,” so permit me to a Word of the Day from Dictionary.com - univocal - having only one meaning: Their last Christmas special was mostly horrid; the companion last series was only pushing a social agenda and had no depth, character, or personality; the series premiere was lackluster so I’m pleased to have missed the second episode because I have given up on Doctor Who entirely.
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,
to which indeed you were called in one body.
And be thankful. (Colossians 3:15)”
