Going to bed at exactly three in the morning, I woke up long enough to watch “On the Road to Friendship,” and “The Washouts” and returned to sleep before I left for Laser Rangers where we watched Dead Poets Society and Educating Rita.
A criticism was Williams played the role too comically, so Educating Rita portrayed the student-teacher relationship better. We also discussed that most poetry these days is set to music, ‘Someone Realized An HP Lovecraft Poem Maps Perfectly to Billy Joel’s “Piano Man” - You can guess what happened next.’
“Unless the LORD builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city,
the watchman stays awake in vain. (Psalms 127:1)”
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city,
the watchman stays awake in vain. (Psalms 127:1)”
the-ttrop: “going back to Photoshop trying out Kuroko for a test run tell me how it looks” |
An observation may reveal a personal truth, “Christopher’s priority seemed to center on doing Ottawa University-like things rather than writing their papers,” which was where I first saw Educating Rita.
