If Steven Universe had been combined with The Fairly OddParents, “whatever it is Pinkie Pie does,” and an eccentric manic energy, then certainly Star vs. The Forces of Evil would result. I was aware of the program, whose second season is airing soon, but I hadn’t really watched any episodes until last night when I visited my friend Ben. I guess that’s just what I needed.
