Web wanderings 049

Tonight is the closing of the Olympics, yet I care less about them than the ending of Outlaw Star on Toonami in the coming weeks.
On 101 the Fox and 94.9 KCMO, they are playing classic hits from movies, so clip from  ‘Forrest Gump’ naturally plays before "Running on Empty" by Jackson Browne, which was not as cool as "Back in Time" by Huey Lewis and the News preceded Marty McFly asking Doc Brown about building a time machine into a DeLorean.
“On this Day” on Facebook can be entertaining, sometimes status updates from seven years ago (with people who have since unfriended you, yet remain tagged) display:
Hey, come to the Next Big Improv Show, tonight at the Roving Imp Theater, and decide immunity for Sly Finck, Derek Özkal, Cindy Paasch, Christian Robinson, or myself!
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for,
the conviction of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)”
