Honestly, I don’t understand how immune health is impacted by diabetes, yet a connection exists so I finally went to the doctor about my cough. While the attending physician had to leave at 2:00 and an emergency meant no second physician would be there for the rest of the day, they found a way to see me after I had made the appointment Tuesday.
