ECAV Radio, JCCC’s online radio station, is celebrating its first anniversary of operation this fall. JCCC means innovative traditions and ECAV is a place for an innovative online broadcast/web presence.

Students from all departments are invited to help create ECAV’s new image by:
• Designing a new ECAV logo
• Developing a sound ECAV business plan and an ECAV marketing strategy
• Creating a new ECAV web presence over the summer.

When ECAV staff moves into remodeled digs at COM 250 this summer, they plan to attract new customers to the ECAV website, where they will provide audio and video archives of podcasts and links, daily/weekly schedules of ECAV shows and events, educational and entertainment programs, including interviews, music, news, and sports shows and increased coverage of college events by partnering with campus media representatives.

The staff also plans to increase ECAV signage on campus, introduce online advertising rates, provide live ecavradio.com broadcasts, and update the ECAV logo.
