A hundred years ago? That’s tomorrow!

Make plans to join us this Sunday (Watch the November 11 #Armistice100 ceremony LIVE starting at 9:30 a.m.), visitors to the National WWI Museum and Memorial will hear the Armistice bell rung at 11:00 a.m. (The ringing of the Armistice Bell for the Bells of Peace ceremony at 10:55 a.m. can also be watched live) in Memorial Courtyard to mark one hundred years since the Armistice:

100 years ago today, Kaiser Wilhelm II abdicated his throne ahead of the Armistice and fled to Holland with his entourage. In Germany, Philip Scheidemann, a Socialist leader, then proclaimed a democratic Republic and became its first Chancellor.’
