Are You Sure It Done This Way?

As I write this post, I listen to Original Country Gold with Rowdy Yates. This weekend, the show features two featured artists, Garth Brooks and Waylon Jennings, whose hits they play one of each during the five-hour program.
In December last year, I bought myself some over-the-ear earbuds and started a subscription to an audio streaming service, so I have become exposed to a few more songs, artists, and genres. At my full-time job, I am able to listen using these as long as I'm only using one; another observation is the inverse of what Peter experienced in Office Space, where every day at work is my best day. Without getting too specific about the symptoms, I can just simply say I’m trying to get over some crud, so whatever ambitions I have for this weekend have been tempered for Saturday, 12th April. I’m not necessarily been too motivated to complete the filing of my taxes, which is just one of the things I want to accomplish this weekend. I don’t like using absolute adverbs, never or always, but I frequently find myself strongly frustrated in the middle of trying to complete my taxes. When I speak about being happy about my place in life, I’m literal about where I’m living, where I’m working, and the overall circumstances and environments. My life isn’t perfect, but whose life is? At least I'm not someone who ran for president and suddenly wants to start an Institute for Policy and Ideas, two things which the Democratic candidate for president in 2024 knew nothing, oh!
