A Few Good Men

My family and I were watching A Few Good Men, and to mind comes a Word of the Day at Dictionary.com - doughty: steadfastly courageous and resolute; valiant.
It’s about who controls the information,” yet to ask the right questions, despite what they said in ‘Sneakers,’ could be as important.

Life’s Been Good to poor, poor, pitiful Me

An alien species from the original Star Trek have a name which rhymes with corn, but is legally distinctive from this Word of the Day at Dictionary.com - gormless: lacking in vitality or intelligence; stupid, dull, or clumsy. I also missed George Takei at Planet Comicon, and a local radio station has chances to win tickets to see Joe Walsh.
I’m going to continue to Blame It on the Rain, yet I have been down on myself. I’ve been working a new second job today, and the note from a distant passing freight train brought to mind “Is this the real life?

Rainy days and Mondays, Part II

The tempestuous Tuesday when’s the last time we had severe consequences to our basement, except today rainy days and Mondays were the same day. I agreed to help the supervising driver today, and I was continuing to work, so I did not attend Toastmasters tonight, or Planet Comicon last weekend, although I am regularly scheduled Sunday.

News of the World 063

A previous blog entry alludes to my plans for the future, for which have been either vapid or vacuous, or rather vaporous, however they’re becoming this Word of the Day at Dictionary.com - inspissate: to thicken, as by evaporation; make or become dense.
The busing service offered the option to me to return for the summer semester, and the following school year. I can no longer stand the early mornings, so I have decided to not return.

Part of my job was to assist physically or mentally challenged students. Specifically, these students are enrolled in a program to provide them with vocational and life-skills in their post-high school careers, which I would guess is similar to College Learning Experiences Activities and Resources (CLEAR Program) at Johnson County Community College. A ceremony is being held for participants who have completed the program with the school district today.

SO MUCH WIN 013

Saturday, my father is once again driving for himself, which is a Word of the Day at Dictionary.com - forthwith: immediately; at once; without delay.
My father did his exercises Friday morning, but he didn’t really get any chance to rest, so he and I had been running around between appointments and pharmacy.

While at Panera Bread, I met some ladies The Single Mom KC, to whom I provided the name of a videographer, my friend Michael Czerniewski.

SO MUCH WIN 012

The tempestuous Tuesday from two weeks ago meant that our phone was not working and has not really rang since the following Wednesday, which is a Word of the Day from Dictionary.com - eldritch - eerie, so to not hear from any of my lenders is a mixed blessing.
I was completing my paperwork to start with Arby’s earlier this morning, and I will return Monday, May 23rd. In a moment, in which Charlie’s winning is applicable, I passed under the railroad bridge at Spruce, only to miss a train at Santa Fe Street, yes!
To travel to the pizza place, I was taking I-35 South to I-435 West to Kansas Highway 10 West, and then Kansas Highway 7, yet when I'm traveling I-35 South to Santa Fe Street is, as Google Maps indicates, actually a faster Word of the Day at Dictionary.com - obviate - to anticipate and prevent or eliminate difficulties, disadvantage.

A second out of Phase 029

The tempestuous Tuesday of two weeks ago caused a short in our wiring, so we lost telephone service, and my schedule meant that I was unavailable for a technician to visit until this Word of the Day at Dictionary.com - cunctator: a procrastinator; delayer.
I knew for a while that they needed documentation from me for me to continue to receive my subsidy, but I really wanted to use the home phone to be advised how to create an account on HealthCare.gov and I waited late in to Happy Big-Block Days to act.

While Consolidated Communications had restored our service on Monday, they had not received payment, so our service was suspended again by Friday when I caught up the payment.

In the Night

Because I have recently been writing my posts before I go to the pizza place, their quality has not quite been a Word of the Day at Dictionary.com - oenomel: something combining strength with sweetness.
Yesterday, I was having a really bad day before lunch,
and I meant to text Twitter, “Happy curmudgeonly day, now Beat It!”

Those in the know also know that Twitter can be updated via SMS message,
which is where I meant to send that, but instead I sent it to my sister Pamela.

That was an accident, although a theory I heard on a sitcom
long ago suggests that no accidents exist.

Shut Up and Dance, Part II, Electric Boogaloo

The district dismissed school early today, and no classes tomorrow; this situation will be somewhat more permanent when the school year ends in two weeks, and I will have to find a new way to pass my Word of the Day at Dictionary.com - margaritaceous: resembling mother-of-pearl; pearly.

for you have made known to us the king’s matter.’”

Any political rants can wait until tomorrow, today is being quite a Monday. I gave a ride to a friend, and nearly forgot to be home in time to meet the technician from Consolidated Communications. Ride the Pony 002

In the sixth season, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has not made the same mistakes with new characters as The Fairly OddParents (which Animated Atrocities could list via YouTube), and continues to reference everything previously established, like good improv or the last two seasons on South Park.
Last weekend had no new episode for ‘My Little Pony’, which I figured was because ‘Transformers: Rescue Bots’ had a season premiere; however, the new episode was teased, so this week became #TrixieWeek as she return to the show.
Stories and character development this season are getting better and better, ponies are dealing with their issues, we are all finally students of Twilight Sparkle, and I continue to find myself stopping every few seconds and say, “That’s so cute.”
For Bronies, one cannot be mentioning Trixie and not mention fan artist extraordinaire PixelKitties. She generally live tweets, but took special care this week and made cards for each of her comments, two characters who were watching the episode.
“Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi,
he asked his disciples, ‘Who do people say that the Son of Man is?’

And they said, ‘Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah,

But who do you say that I am?
