For realsies: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

“Tires. Tires“ are the first among those things about which I am thinking since the last of my refunds are deposited.
If they have to pay somebody else, “Apple Confirms it Uses Google Cloud for iCloud,” it’s no wonder that they’re always telling you your storage is full. Of course, you won’t know that right away because your battery is being throttled.
For realsies, who through him are believers in God,
who raised him from the dead and gave him glory,
so that your faith and hope are in God? (1 Peter 1:21)”

“And Jesus answered them,
‘Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt,
you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree
but even if you say to this mountain,
Be taken up and thrown into the sea,”
it will happen.’ (Matthew 21:21)”

here’s my suggestions on things that will actually work.”

Web wanderings 049

Tonight is the closing of the Olympics, yet I care less about them than the ending of Outlaw Star on Toonami in the coming weeks.
On 101 the Fox and 94.9 KCMO, they are playing classic hits from movies, so clip from  ‘Forrest Gump’ naturally plays before "Running on Empty" by Jackson Browne, which was not as cool as "Back in Time" by Huey Lewis and the News preceded Marty McFly asking Doc Brown about building a time machine into a DeLorean.
“On this Day” on Facebook can be entertaining, sometimes status updates from seven years ago (with people who have since unfriended you, yet remain tagged) display:
Hey, come to the Next Big Improv Show, tonight at the Roving Imp Theater, and decide immunity for Sly Finck, Derek Γ–zkal, Cindy Paasch, Christian Robinson, or myself!

the conviction of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)”

The Last Picture Show

While a stream of consciousness might produce more coherent writing than one might find on this blog, some of us never learn a lot of required reading in school was just plain awful.
Wow, Rick and Morty at eight o’clock in the evening’s kind of early, and two weekday evenings I was home this week yet I went to bed at six this morning.
“But you, beloved, (Jude 1:20) building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,” a stream of consciousness more coherent than this blog.

The Times and The Sunday Times

  1. Do NOT read your feed.
  2. only go to pages like a pony page you like; go nowhere else.
  3. remind yourself that a majority of your friends are ... but you will continue to love them anyway because you are not a facist.
  4. this happens literally ALL the time; why are you letting affect you?
Whirlwind weekend 043,” since I did not donate blood, should have been amended.
While my hand is sore from his handshake,
he’s reminded me of the decency of people and restored my faith in humanity.
About a month ago, I met up with some cinephile friends of Josh at a Jack in the Box; they are like Red Letter Media, and I haven’t seen them in person in two weeks.

The 6th Day

Since several schools in the area remain closed for the wintry conditions, I thought Pizza Street would be more crowded on Thursday; some children are having a six-day weekend.
My sister is employed by a local school district and a company that provides a service to a different local school district employs my friend David. One was paid for the holiday on Monday, while another was paid for the entire week.
“Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted,
but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:30-31)”

Whirlwind weekend 043

Every other week our three dogs receive a shampoo treatment from my father and sister; at two o’clock in the living room those three dogs are laying on their sides, my sister is playing on her phone, and my father is asleep watching The Weather Channel.
I am going to visit Don Denton Turley tonight, donate blood before Bennigan and I go to see ‘Black Panther’ tomorrow, and lunch around 1:30 on Monday with my former team leader, who now works down the street at KU Edwards.

Man In The Mirror

A friend shared a video today from Goalcast, where Rock Thomas chronicles his relationship with his father; decades later, a mentor taught him to speak positive things to himself, and he began to change his life: I am my best.

He’s her special Zompony.

For as much as I feel Singles’ Awareness Day, somewhere ...
Because today the woman to the left of me successfully let me know I was wrong, “Characters from the comic’s been on The Walking Dead from the start,” I continue to regret that I never studied Debate and Forensics, where I could have learned rhetoric or at least how to argue. Look back to October 2014 or last month, and see many days where I publish no post on my blog; I was working many hours those days and was not able to publish before the day was over.
I was working until midnight,
but I was there 20 minutes before the end,
but it’s about the attempt!

An offer that I cannot refuse 036

“To the pure, all things are pure, (Titus 1:15-16)
but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure;
but both their minds and their consciences are defiled.
They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works.
They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.”

The Cloverfield Paradox

Thinking to myself as I watched the preview for The Cloverfield Paradox, “It better not be anything dumb,” since Dead Space or Divergence Eve: Misaki Chronicles do a better job with a similar story.
Although he will use blunt terms, Denton has a genuine love for people but has no patience for stupidity or those who don't really try, so I am surprised how well tolerated I am some days, except when I am not.
Friday was not a good day at work, I tried to do too much earlier in the day, so I didn’t sleep as much as I needed. My mind was foggy and I moved something which the woman to the left of me struggled to find for twenty minutes rm the community stack to my personal stack, where I suggested that she look and went on a break instead of offering to help look.
Reason will not lead to solution / I will end up lost in confusion,” so I have to wonder whether or not I was just lazy, selfish, oblivious, uncaring, or autistic. I know similar situations are why my sister hates me. I often avoid people so I don’t have to deal the pain of having to deal with them, yet find myself lonely.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)”

Turn right toward Springfield

This time was only the third epic road trip Denton and I have made. “In Search of a Used Postal Jeep,” we had gone to Atchison; today Adam was also along and we traveled to the Ozarks to Osagian Canoes, who know How It’s Made.
“Don’t you listen to the weather? We got a major storm here.” While the snow had been removed from all the forecast, Denton wisely wore a thick sweater.
He later created a 360-degree composite video using a 4K digital camera. Missouri Highway T was perilous, and Denton’s hands tightly gripped the steering wheel until we returned to a recently plowed dual-lane carriageway.
The weather had caused nearly every eatery, and we were finally desperate enough for the chewy, cheesy and crispy goodness of Casey’s pizza.

Mr. Saturday Night

While Denton and I have plans for a road trip tomorrow, “Hiatus,” an episode of N.C.I.S which aired 9 May 2006, just completed on Netflix and I was reminded yesterday how I have been neglecting “A Friend in Deed.” Coincidentally, David’s been craving pancakes recently, so 6 or 6:30 is going to be a good time to meet up for dinner before the show Saturday night since we have been entreated:
I know what you are thinking, with Groundhog’s Day being Friday your weekend is going to be totally front-loaded and there’s no way Saturday can be anything but a letdown. Oh, not so fast, because Saturday at 9:30PM I will be performing at ComedyCity and I can promise you that show will be way more fun than any rodent-based holiday. Yes, ANY rodent-based holiday.

I got my oil changed today, so the only thing I need to do now is to make sure I go to bed in an hour that’s reasonable on Saturday night. “I think my truck can make it. We will have a good road trip” All right, just know that I was prepared or trying to be prepared.
