Stale zaniness 007

‘Tis the season for cookouts and graduation parties. Last week, I went to a house-warming party in Kansas City, Missouri. Although I did not attend the following Jimmy Buffet concert, one of the owners of Z-Teca Mexican Grill lovingly threw a pre-concert party at his home in Raytown, the setting for Mama’s Family. Because I simply cannot afford either the frustration from navigation to the location, or the fuel, I usually miss the weekly Laughs in Lawrence Show.
BonnerSprings.com / Imp expands to Lawrence
“The Roving Imp is now conducting improv classes and shows at the Ecumenical Christian Ministries building at Kansas University in Lawrence.”
I think we’ve all arrived at a very special place.
Spiritually, ecumenically, grammatically.”
Stage Set for First GOP Presidential-Contender Debate
“The GOP presidential contender debate, set to take place in South Carolina on Thursday, will include former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, Texas Representative Ron Paul, former Godfather’s Pizza CEO Herman Cain, former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson, and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.”
As Nick Fury, Samuel L. Jackson needs to be more consistent with which eye is covered with the patch, like Kurt Russell.
Great Odin’s Raven! The Likely Awfulness Of ‘Thor’ And The Case For Movie Serials
“Thor. They made an entire movie about Thor.”
Sorry, Candice, but I will be at either the Second Annual Roving Imp Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, or later at the Graduation party for Benjamin Hodge. From Aladdin and the King of Thieves, Genie asks, “You’re Thor?”

Obama’s Anti-Energy Policies Are Bankrupting America
“‘As an American, you never want to look at your own government and say they’re hurting you personally, they’re hurting your business and they’re doing it in a way that’s irresponsible. I’m not very proud of our government right now and the way they handled this.’”
From Family Guy, “It’s not your fault.”
‘Obama bin Laden?’ It’s not your fault - BlogPost - The Washington Post
“The confusion over Osama/Obama gaffes is explained by linguistics.”
Saying that something is not useful is much more helpful than calling it useless.
Gallup: Only 37 Percent of Pakistanis Believe Their Government Doing Enough to Fight Terrorism
“(CNSNews.com) - Even before U.S. Navy SEALS swooped down in helicopters and killed Osama bin Laden in the compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, where he had been living for as long as six years, only 37 percent of Pakistanis believed their government was doing enough to fight terrorism.”
That being said, the search in Microsoft SharePoint is not useful.
Domino’s Scientists Test Limits Of What Humans Will Eat
“Despite ethical concerns about testing on humans, researchers say their work was necessary to determine the boundary between garbage and food.”
This is a bigger C.A.R.B. failure than Miller Lite:
California Has Nation’s Worst Air
“According to an annual survey by the American Lung Association, California cities have the worst air quality in the United States.”
That was some stale zaniness, like your girlfriend, eh, 007?

  1. For mother's day, I paid my mom's way to see Thor because that's the movie she said she wanted to see. I now understand Saturday nights mention of Nordic Thunder a little bit better.

  2. Yes, and without YouTube I did not recognize that “It’s not your fault” was a parody of a scene from Good Will Hunting.
