Love, lift us up where we Belong

“All right, I’m going to delay picking up my car until Monday so I can get my application in for a job with the same company and doing about the same thing but in the same state where I live,” so was the plan two weeks ago, while colleagues of a friend who works there were hired, I lack seniority or a decent resume or scores on the assessment, and I made another error, so I got depressed.
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,
to which indeed you were called in one body.
And be thankful. (Colossians 3:15)”

Puuuuding Foooorever…

As My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic continues its final season, the magic on screen from the writers, producers, actors, musicians, animators, editors, and final mixers, in this case from My Little Pony: Best Gift Ever, and “Sparkle’s Seven,” is sometimes edited and mixed by fans into “Puuuuding Foooorever…
“Turn away from evil and do good; so shall you dwell forever.
For the LORD loves justice; he will not forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever, (Psalms 37:27-29)
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever.”

I visited Bennigan today, we watched Chio’s School Road via Hulu, “Our DVD and Blu-ray Collection,” which is almost as entertaining as “Our VHS Collection,” and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

‘Tis the Season for Soliloquy IV: The Quest for Piece

My friends Travis and Denton are within two years of my age, a Word of the Day from Dictionary.com: a yealing; however, the author of this image (opining about billionaires and their donations to rebuild Notre Dame de Paris) might not have been, to which I said:
Pardon me, but this is zit-faced sarcasm and smugness masquerading as moral superiority; just because some billionaires don’t embrace your values, does not mean that they are wrong and you are right. Why don’t you become a billionaire and then you can make your own rules?
My online forays into the public forum do not go well,
so I should have been expecting responses:
Christopher, hmm, actually it does. If you have so much money at your disposal that you could easily, single-handedly, solve hunger all over the world then you kind of have a moral obligation to do so. Children literally die of hunger every day when they don’t have to and all it would take is a few incredibly wealthy people to stop hoarding 90% of the wealth in the world. If there was a god, don’t you think he would judge humans by such choices?
While you assumed correctly, are you assuming the gender of a deity? When I read this a second time, I realized the second response was from another person:
If you have that much money and the world is all equal and fine with no poverty, sure. Keep it. But when millions are in poverty while others bathe in their tubs of gold, you're part of a problem. This isn't a twisted and complicated moral superiority, it's kindergarten morals. Share with those who have none. Have compassion and all that. Billionaires can and should be guillotined if they refuse to distribute their wealth.
I do not have to guess for whom those two voted.
Interesting to advocate violence. If someone does not support your values they should be harmed, a lot like regimes that have put people in poverty, kleptocracies where corrupt governments are run by corrupt people who keep everything for themselves! Communism works well enough on paper and the Halls of Academia, but have you seen Venezuela or Cuba?! Sounds like the only way to institute “Imagine,” a violent revolution? People who are wealthy are not the problem: people are the problem; if fertility rates continue to drop, there won't be too many people by mid-century, so most of these problems will work themselves out because everyone will be gone
“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name,
he gave the right to become children of God, (John 1:12)”

SO MUCH WIN 021

“Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Blessed is the man against whom the LORD counts no iniquity,
and in whose spirit there is no deceit. (Psalms 32:1-2)”

Shazam! (Wizards of Unknown Origin)

“We got tickets for 3:45 p.m. on Imax,” which technical difficulty permitted us to see at the Dolby Cinema, they say s*** a lot in this movie (seriously, like four times), but they do back it up. ‘It’s about subverting expectations. It’s about family.’
“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger
and clamor and slander be put away from you,
along with all malice. Be kind to one another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
as God in Christ forgave you. (Ephesians 4:31-32)”
