JCCC Academic Excellence Challenge team wins first tournament of the season

“The defending state champion JCCC Academic Excellence Challenge team added yet another win to its record. The team tied for first against Cowley Community College in the fall preliminary tournament, hosted by Neosho Community College.
The team went undefeated, finishing with a 5-0 record and an average score per round of 428 points. Team captain Kurt Partridge was named the overall points leader, earning 400 total points and averaging 80 points per round.
Members of the team who competed in the fall preliminary tournament are Partridge, Trevor Crookston, Jared Mullis, Rhiannon Pearson and Elliot Rogers.”
