Yesterday, my sister Kim was working at the Arby’s until 6:30 p.m., so I joined my father while he tried to not sleep through the third part of Back to the Future trilogy, which was his second attempt. Soon, we all left in the car to look at lights.

Friends of our family from Grace Christian Fellowship Church, the Deutsches have invited us for dinner on Christmas, and Father last night took the opportunity to locate their house. Fortunately, I used Google Maps Navigation, or we would have been lost in the dark for far longer. Later a friend was in town, so we went to Denny’s until 1:30 a.m. My family watched Days of Thunder, and waited to open presents until I came upstairs after 9:00 a.m. We stayed with the Deutsches until 4:30 p.m.
