Oh, I believe in yesterday

Well, Denton told me about his burrito challenge, so I am going to try, too. I am at the Z-Teca Fresh Mexican Grill in Crown Center.
If Risk were a 1.547-kg burrito instead of a board game, then I would win or at least tie, like your girlfriend.

JCCC JOINS NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS MONTH CAMPAIGN IN SEPTEMBER
“The JCCC office of emergency preparedness is participating in the National Preparedness Month 2010 Coalition, which is focusing on emergency preparedness in September.

Throughout the month, the JCCC community will be encouraged to work together, neighbor to neighbor, to support each other in planning and preparing for disaster.

Unfortunately, we don’t get to pick the next disaster, so it’s important to be informed about the threats and hazards we face.

For starters, we can take these simple concrete steps:
Get a kit
Make a plan
Be informed

JCCC will be rolling out its Keeping Our People Safe (KOPS) initiative this month. Watch for details in the coming weeks.

In addition, JCCC employees can volunteer to be a building emergency team member. Notify Alisa Pacer, JCCC emergency preparedness manager, at ext. 7622 if you’re interested.

These are some of JCCC’s other preparedness efforts this month:

• Campus Kick-Off Emergency Preparedness Booth, Wednesday, Sept. 8.

• Student Center Building Emergency Team Training, Monday – Tuesday, Sept. 20 – 21

Safe School Initiative Threat Assessment Training, 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, Hudson Auditorium. Registration required.

• CPR/AED Training, 9 a.m. – noon, Tuesday, Sept. 28. Sign up through Staff Development

Addressing Mental Health Concerns on College Campuses webinar, 2 to 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 30, CC224. Contact Lori Vogelsberg, ext. 3199, for more information.”
This morning Christopher Hurt should have had enough caffeine to stimulate or at least simulate alertness by now; however, I am feeling tired from being awakened by dreams about the Huxtables (William H. Cosby, Jr. (Bill Cosby)), and Nash Bridges.
A Donut Is A Poetic Way To Start The Day | Tosh.0 Blog
“No matter how big of a space you put in between ‘but’ and ‘holes’, it still reads the same, dumb.”
I do not want to meet the meanings: ‘zero-base budgeting’, ‘sustainability’; or the tautology ‘past history’.
Review: 2011 Honda CR-ZAutoblog
“Take off your rose-colored glasses, CRX fans. Okay, so the 2011 Honda CR-Z isn’t exactly...”
I just watched a commercial for Hardee’s, which included, “Covered in sausage gravy,” on 38 the Spot! & Holly Starr.
Ford Explorer Police Interceptor Utility prepares to serve and protectAutoblog
“Ford took the wraps off of its Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility.”

I went to Hy-Vee, Inc., and bought something from each of the major food groups: crackers, Dr Pepper, hot dog buns, and Hot Pockets.
